The MI-AMTE organization was formed in 2015. We are an affiliate of the national AMTE organization⇗. As a young non-profit, MI-AMTE welcomes both individual and institutional donations.

MI-AMTE Mini-grants
In spring 2023, MI–AMTE offered the first round of annual mini-grant funding to support members’ work in mathematics teacher education. Three projects were funded that year, and more continue to be funded annually. See our newsletters for details, and check out the awardees’ webinars: MI-AMTE members can access the webinar recordings and presentation materials through our Webinar Archive❖.
A new round of mini-grant applications will be announced every spring.
AMTE STaR Fellows Program
MI-AMTE provided financial support through the AMTE's STaR Fellows program⇗ for Yaomingxin Lu (2021) and Dawn Woods (2020).
The STaR Fellows program is designed to help early-career mathematics educators as they transition into positions at higher education institutions.
